Plasma & Electroporation

Two technologies, used one after the other in the same treatment. Plasma prepares the skin to receive; electroporation does the delivering.

Plasma — the fourth state of matter

Plasma is the fourth state of matter, and one of the most interesting things to arrive in non-invasive skincare. Passed over the skin, a controlled plasma arc opens ultra-fine channels through the stratum corneum — the outermost, already-shed layer — without damaging the living skin beneath. It refines texture and softens the look of fine lines in its own right, and it opens the way for everything that follows.

Electroporation — getting actives where they count

With those channels open, a mild electrical field briefly increases the permeability of the cell membrane, carrying anti-ageing serums and actives down into the layers where they can make a difference, rather than leaving them sitting on the surface — which is where most of a serum applied by hand stays.

Backed by growing research into plasma-based skin technology, with no needles, no pain and little to no downtime.

It is not plasma fibroblast

They share a word and nothing else. Fibroblast — sometimes called plasma pen, or soft surgery — is ablative: it burns tiny points into the skin, leaves visible carbon crusts and has real downtime. What we use does not break the living skin at all, and you leave looking like you have had a facial, because you have.

Plasma and electroporation are both part of our Skin Renew Facial.
